Good feng shui dimensions. Online ruler. Imperial sizes.

  • What is a feng shui ruler? How to use imperial dimensions?
  • Feng shui sizing calculator.

Imperial size is one of the tools to determine the favourable feng shui size for different objects. For example, such measurements can be made for a window, doors, table, bed, etc. Imperial size is represented by a special ruler, divided into eight parts, each of which carries certain information. There are 4 favourable and 4 unfavourable sections on the feng shui ruler.

You need to know this! Selecting favourable feng shui dimensions is of course a good thing. But you must remember that imperial dimensions are not paramount to creating good feng shui.

First you need to pay attention to:

  1. Feng shui of the house (flat, office). a) Is the location of the house favourable? b) What objects surround the house? Especially pay attention to such objects: mountains, bodies of water, roads, other houses and buildings. c) The absence of unfavourable objects and shapes. d) What is the direction of the front door? And other points.
  2. Birth chart (horoscope) and periods of good fortune. You cannot do without astrological predictions to improve your life. Such predictions will determine your potential, your destiny and luck in a particular period of your life.
  3. And only after that you can use auxiliary tools such as: feng shui interior design (feng shui wall colour, choice of materials, etc.), feng shui imperial dimensions (purse, doors, windows, bed, etc.), feng shui paintings, figurines and more.

In order to determine the auspicious size using the feng shui ruler, you need to enter the size value in centimetres in the calculation form.

What is a feng shui ruler and how did it originate?

Many attribute the creation of the ruler to the imperial carpenter Lu Ban. He made furniture for the imperial palace and observed that objects of different sizes had different effects on the emperor and other people.

Objects that are around us can affect us positively or negatively. It depends on their shape and colour. But their size also matters.

Several types of feng shui rulers are known. They were created in different places in China. They are roughly the same size, but not identical. There are rulers of these lengths: 42.96 cm, 43.2 cm, 43.5 cm. If you know the length in centimetres, you can use the online calculator on this web page.

For windows and doors, when determining whether their size is favourable, you need to measure the internal dimensions, i.e. the dimensions of the openings through which most of the energy enters the house.
When choosing the size of the desk, you need to consider its length and width. For example, for a desk top we can recommend the following sizes: width can be in the range of 60-69, 81-91 cm, length - 103-112, 124-134, 146-155 cm. If you need other sizes, you simply enter that size into the Imperial size calculator and see which section it falls into.

If when measuring, for example, a table, its size does not fall into a favourable sector, you can use correction. For this purpose, you can divide the object into a favourable length using a different colour and other means. For example, you can paint the "extra" part under the bottom of the table top with red paint.

If an object "lacks" a few centimetres to get a favourable size, you can use a piece of tape or paper (cardboard, wood) and attach them to the edge of the object. In this way you will symbolically complete this object to the required size.

But remember, always follow common sense. You don't need to measure everything with this ruler. You can measure the items you use often: your purse, bed, table, doors and windows.

Don't get too carried away with the imperial dimensions. Show common sense and moderation.

Calculate imperial size (calculator, feng shui ruler).

Enter the size in centimetres (1 m 37 cm = 137 cm). Enter decimal numbers in this format - 33.5 cm (use a dot as a separator).
